NDV Agency produces live webcast for Juanes

In an effort to get closer to his fans, Juanes contacted NDV Agency to produce his first live webcast. Juanes answered questions via Twitter during the first 30 minutes of the transmission and then proceeded to sing a couple of the songs of his new album once his iPhone’s battery dried out.

The interesting part of the webcast was that Juanes did not want to advertise it beforehand. We thought that was a very interesting initiative that would prize those that are really listening to Juanes’s social media channels on a regular basis. Loyal followers found a link on Juanes’s Twitter Sunday morning that took them to a livestream where they found their idol sitting on a white sofa ready for a Sunday afternoon chat.

The webcast proved to be a huge success after the term “Juanes” became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter for the duration of the transmission and over an hour thereafter. Over 20,000 fans got a glimpse of the artist during the 45 minutes of the broadcast.

NDV Agency Announces Launch of Highly Anticipated Juanes.net

Juanes informed fans of his new comprehensive website via his twitter account. Within an hour of the announcement, thousands had registered.

Miami, FL January 28, 2010 – Juanes informed fans of his new comprehensive website via his twitter account. Within an hour of the announcement, thousands had registered. “With registration, fans can share videos and their own cover art designs, through the Design and Share feature, comment on past concert dates, as well as upload pictures.” Chris Duque, Co-Founder of NDV Agency reported.
The site also includes an array of other features including: an archive of Juanes’ career, tour dates and tour information. Fans can research lyrics, play videos and listen to streaming music. Downloaded music is also available through a referral-based platform via iTunes and Amazon, in which most of the profits from downloads are donated towards Juanes’ charities.

In addition, fans will have access to Juanes’ video blogs, which will keep his fans updated on his upcoming album as well as his daily life. Using an iPhone application set up by NDV Agency, Juanes can deliver his video blog entries directly to his website via his iPhone.

“Fan feedback has been amazing. Juanes has already received over 500 positive comments on his facebook page and this number still continues to grow,” added Duque. “We are excited to see how fans will continue to react to the website.”
